Michael Bud

In early 2021, Michael decided to focus some of the resources of his creative agency, Square Squared, on a reboot of Kids Are Talking. He had worked on a previous iteration of a similar project by the same name in radio format in the late 90s. His vision is for an unfiltered and unedited conversation about real issues teens and young adults face today. His goal is to expand the reach of the show to encompass the whole country—now at a time when we are more divided than ever—and facilitate a place for kids with different opinions and backgrounds to have constructive and civil conversations.

Michael and his wife Leena founded their internationally award-winning creative agency Square Squared over 20 years ago to elevate businesses and create memorable brands.

Michael's fine-art passion has been carving in the round since 1995. His subtractive sculptures are mostly made from hardwood (e.g. cherry, walnut, and ash) and end up being about 6'-8' in height or length. His modern abstract collection draws on tribal influences with a serpentine-like flow, sometimes incorporating metal for final polish and embellishments.

Michael also has a fancy for improvised comedy and playing with the best of the best, He founded the improv channel CollectiveSpot.LIVE to showcase the talents of his favorite improvisers.

In his free time, he also enjoys songwriting.

Michael lives in Weston, Connecticut with his wife and two children.
